Elementary IV - Homework

Choose your favorite place to eat. Write a review of the restaurant. Use superlative adjectives and some of the vocabulary in this unit.

"World Tastes" is one of the most popular restaurants in the city. They don't have the cheapest prices, but the food is excellent. You can choose from many international dishes on the menu. At World Tastes, you can enjoy the friendliest service possible in a large restaurant. It is located in one of the oldest and most beautiful buildings in the city. The restaurant is busiest on weekends, so you usually have to wait for a table.

Elementary IV - Homework

This is your homework.

Imagine you're going to move to another city (in your country or in another country). Write a paragraph comparing the new city with the place where you live now. For example:

I live in Tokyo now, but I'm goint to move to the north of Japan- to the city of Sapporo. Tokyo is bigger than Sapporo. It is also busier and more crowded because there are a lot of tourists and business people. There is a lot of traffic, and getting around is not easy. I like Sapporo because it is quieter, the people are friendlier, and life is more exciting there. Near Sapporo you can do many things like hiking, skiing, rafting, and other adventure sports. Summers are cool, and winters are longer and colder in Sapporo than in Tokyo. I think I'm going to enjoy life in Sapporo!

Advanced V - Homework

Elementary III - A day in the life of..(U19)- Writing HW

Here again,
Write a paragraph describing what you did and didn't do last week. Use the past tense and some of the vocabulary from this unit.
Warning: Don't copy or your grade is low.
Last week I did lots of interesting things I called an old friend on her birthday, I started a new exercise class, I watched some great shows on TV, and I cooked dinner for my family on Saturday. I also did things I do every week: I checked my email and replied to messages, I worked a lot, and I relaxed at home in the evening. There are two things I didn't do: I didn't clean my apartment, and I didn't go to the bank.

Elementary III - Memories(U18)-Writing HW

Hello student:
Think about a memorable person, possession or event in your life. Write a paragraph describing the person or thing. Explain what he, she, or it is memorable. Use the simple past of the verb be.
This is the example, don't copy and paste, if you do your grade is low.
There are many memorable events in my life, and one of them is my trip to England. It was one of my best vacations. I was sixteen, and I was with my mother. We did a lot during our vacation in England. We went to a lot of beautiful beaches: green parks, big castles, old markets, interesting museums, and great palaces. The weather is not usually sunny in England, but when we were there, most of the days were sunny and hot! There were only two rainy days during our visit, but on those days we were at Harrods department store. It was a great trip!

Elementary III - Writing - Homework

Dear studet:
Welcome to this new cycle. Here you have your homework.
An American friend is coming to our country for a year. Your friend sends you an email and wants to know about the weather. Write an email with helpful infomation.
Here you have the example:
Today is the first day of summer, and it's 30 degrees. It's sunny and hot, and most people are wearing T-shirts and shorts. The weather here is warm in spring, cool in autumn, and cold in winter. In spring, people usually wear shorts or pants, and they sometimes wear sweatshirts or cardigans. In autumn, people always wear cardigans or sweaters. Winters here are not very cold, but you need a good jacket. It doesn't rain a lot here, but you may want to bring an umbrella.
We don't have any dangerous weather conditions here, but the weather is very cold and windy in the south especially in winter. In the south, people usually wear warm sweaters, jackets, scarves, and gloves. Do you have any hiking boots? You'll need them if you want to go to the mountains!
See you soon

Richard

Be careful: Don't copy and paste, it isn't worth anything

Songs are nice to practice listening and improve your fluency, enjoy this one...

After love, after love [repeat]
No matter how hard I try / You keep pushing me aside/ And I can't break through /There's no talking to you / So sad that you're leaving / Takes time to believe it / But after all is said and done / You're going to be the lonely one, Ohh Oh
[CHORUS:]
Do you believe in life after love / I can feel something inside me say / I really don't think you're strong enough, / Now/ Do you believe in life after love /I can feel something inside me say / I really don't think you're strong enough, / Now
What am I supposed to do / Sit around and wait for you / And I can't do that /There's no turning back / I need time to move on / I need love to feel strong / 'Cause I've had time to think it through / And maybe I'm too good for you Ohh Oh
[CHORUS]
But I know that I'll get through this / 'Cause I know that I am strong / I don't need you anymore/ Oh I don't need you anymore I don't need you anymore / No I don't need you anymore
[CHORUS repeat to fade]

It's English

I created this blog for my friends and students to write information for them, and for them to write something in English.

I think it's important to share what we know, what we think and what we do to make our students learn and also what they can do to get it, so I'm going to post their homeworks or projects or something else...

This is not only for students' tasks, it's also for colleagues or friends who want to share something they want, the idea is: "_How can I do it? _ Here you have something that could help you"

So welcome to this blog, and let's share what we know... any idea you have is ok...
