First, we form groups of four, each one had to read the text “mind map” to understand how to do one, with my classmates started to organize our ideas, we all had different ways of doing a mind map, so we decided to choose the best and add something .
During the process I feel find of drowsy, but then when we started to discuss our ideas it was funny to do that. We choose a secretary , well I said “the secretary should be Maggy” , because I knew that She has a lot of imagination. And because I don´t like to read. Then We organize ideas, use colors , markets and something like that.
We had a couple of thing we wanted to add, but what Idon´t like is that we stay up late to finish making the mind map, because it was after 9 pm. We be interested in finishing the task.
The next day we had to do a presentation and explain our job. The classmates are aeger to listen us, well I guess at last everybody clapped.
It was intersting and I think it wasn´t so difficult to make a mind map , and I´m relieved that everything went well. And that´s all ,bye bye

My experience was very funny and interesting. Work with my classmates was amazing and a really challenge to try to organize “different worlds”(our ideas ) in just one.
First, we agreed to do a fast reading, then we tried to do a mind map each one and after that we talked about the best title, important ideas, key words and stuff like that. In this way we mixed our ideas and got a complete mind map. Each one gave some idea to do our map so it was really our.
To write in a paper we have a couple of ideas to discuss and at the end organize the shape of our mind map. It was kind of difficult or hard because we are different and have different styles but it was just a little trouble.
We discovered more things about us we had the opportunity to know more about ourselves and our classmates, for me that is one of the most special experiences. For example we realized Flor has an excellent imagination, she is a dynamic person. About boys, David is a good designer and Anderson is so funny. In fact, I learned a lot about them and I understand more the importance to work in groups, you can learn and teach at the same time. It´s great!
The next we had our presentation, it was a little hard. We take around 30 minutes to do the presentation of all the groups. Now, I know with more precision that exist a lot of styles to do a mind map, but the important thing is you have the capacity to hear other ideas and take the best of them to improve your knowledge and your personality.

The experience that two days ago I lived was wonderful because all my
classmates, who belonged to my group, share opinions and points of view
to we make the best work in team. Also because this way we can learn
to work in group and respect each opinion to create a great mind map, in
this case.Respect is very important between friends or classmates,
it's the base of excellent relationships. Also between classmates can
learn new techniques to learn very well and correct mistakes that someone
can have.First when the teacher formed the groups ,each members of group
read the text in the student book around 5 minutes,Natali underlined
the main ideas to we can organize it very fast en the mind map. After that
we try to make the mind map and put the ideas in order in a notebook ,but
it's soft of difficult because each one had different key words and ideas but to
the end we understood the form like working.Next David began to draw a special
of symbol that represent the main idea but the piece of paper was very small,
so that I gave them a big paper and I started to write all the map, drawn the
branches,to paint other picture of the main idea and stuff like that. While I was
writing my classmate(Nataly) said me the key words and Anderson gave me the
different color markers or somenthing to I can to write. After of a couple of
minutes the mind map was done. The next day We were surprized, because we didn't
know that all group's members had to a presentation, well I though that one might
represent the group or somenthing . I felt a bit nervous,I spoke about 3 minutes
I think that presentation was good .This whatchamacallit help us to be more
seft- confident. This technique of work is very interesting.

The experience of group work was very assertive because we could strengthen the theme on mind maps and especially to integrate with classmate.
The truth is that this subject already knew, because in the second cycle of the university take a course "Modulo Cognitivo" in which taught us everything about thingy, also the technique of chain and much more.
We began by read each one about "Study skills", then each one gave their own opinion about the subject and we put on a sheet our own mental maps.
Marcel asked me to do the mental map in the sheet paper and I accepted.
Florcita very generous lent us some markers to decorate our work and can be gorgeous at the time of exposure.
Everyone began to collaborate in order to make a nice and good job, so that the ideas began to flow until this was ending, when we realized that the hour of the class was about to end, we wanted to finish quickly and not leave for tomorrow
When we finished each retired to his home and the next day I had forgotten that he had to expose the work, and the truth is that was in another world because he had some drawbacks before reaching class, so my exposure wasn’t the best, but my companions if they did very well.
After the teacher wanted us to ask questions and I couldn't wait to finish it this time until finally ended and I was relieved.
With this work I think I could feel all the emotions together at different times.

The experience was very interesting and sort of fun, first we joined in groups to read "Study skills" after that, we chose a secretary to start making the map in this case was Claudia, we had a couple of ideas on how to start doing the mind map but decided to do it as an example of the book, then we took a couple of opinions from every point of reading to understand better.
After that we started making our mind map and stuff like that, but it was a little difficult to get the most important points of the reading, we think we might be wrong and ask if what we were doing was right.
We use paper, markers or something like that, and we delay in making the mind map about 15 minutes.
When we finished the mind map Marcelo took it to his house for presentation the next day.
We didn't know we had to explain the mind map and start reading again and we divide each part to explain.
I felt a kind of nervous when I went to give my opinion and I forgot about that whatchamacallit of which I had to talk but I was relieved when I return to look at the map and there was that word. But in the end we could expose well.

Definitely this learning method is new for me. Reviewing topics by Internet, I could see this technique is around year 1990. I need to confirm it in order to have a certainly date.
I think it is a good method learning about different topics, because this diagram use a special technique to represent ideas, topics, tasks, following a principal idea. In fact, the Mind maps are used to visualize and classify ideas about every kind of topics. I think Mind maps can help people to study, organize, an problem solving. However I found a different position about Mind maps, too. I write about it at the end of the text.
In our case, at classroom, we could organize a visual way to watch topics like “Study skills”. Starting of this principal idea, were appearing subtopics like learning enviroment, well being, time management and task management. Besides each sub-topic had important aspects to take on count. In fact, at the beginning, each member of our group had a different idea about sub-topics, but finally we could choose the most importants in a consense way.
These elements of our mind map were arranged intuitively according to the importance of the concepts, and were classified into groupings and branches like (1) Enviroment of study at home, library, school; (2) “Well-being” like self-reward, peer support, doing exercise, take a diet, and enough sleep in order to avoid stress, like domestic and school problems. (3) Time management, like programming, timetable or schedule, and (4) Task management, like organize files of classwork and homework, keep notebooks, dictionaries, grammar to increase vocabulary.
Searching by Internet I could see that Mind maps can be used for:
· Problem Solving
· Outline / Framework Design
· Anonymous collaboration.
· Marriage of words and visuals.
· Individual expression of creativity.
· Condensing material into a concise and memorable format.
· Team building or synergy creating activity.
· Enhancing work morale.

Criticizes about effectiveness in learning

Buzan claims that the mind map is a vastly superior note taking method because it does not lead to a "semi-hypnotic trance" state induced by other note forms. Buzan also argues that the mind map uses the full range of left and right human cortical skills, balances the brain, taps into the apocryphal 99% of your unused mental potencial, as well as intuition (which he calls "superlogic"). However, scholarly research suggests that such claims may actually be marketing hype based on misconceptions about the brain and the cerebral hemispheres. Critics argue that hemispheric specialization theory has been identified as pseudoscientific when applied to mind mapping.

Well, my experience during the creation of mind maps
was very funny and interesting because
I knew better my partners. As the tips used to study,
the environment that they prefer to concentrate and to learned.
Several partners can study while listening to music, and I can do it too
I always study maths while I listen to music.
I prefer studying in a calmed and hot environment.
The use of markers is important to indicate the important parts of a text....

my first experience doing a mind map was at the school. My teacher asked us to do mind maps and expose them in groups.
At the first week all looked terrible, because my group hadn't done nothing, I tried to talk with them and all that, but they weren't worried.
I wanted to get a good score, so I had to do the work without them, the worse of the problem was the theme, because I had to talk about the chinese culture and obviously It was a hard work for one person, so I felt kind of down.
I didn't know how I could do my mind map, so asked to my teacher help or something, and she gave me a couple of advices. She teached me the main steps to created a main map.
When the day of my exposition arrived, all the students were nervous, I remember that I talked around 18 chinese dynasties, my classmates were surprised for all the information that I had learned with the mind map.
About my group, my teacher punished them with bad score, because they were lazy. I thought they might be wrong.

During the class I was drowsy, attentive but drowsy, the teacher had been explain the studentbook, and in one moment he said "we'll work in groups of three".

my group were: Flor, Natalie, Anderson and me (The best group I think.

In my opinion this form to work is very good and we can get new friendsin the procces.

Well, first we start reading the book and then they told me to draw a key for the mental map (I do that) before to do it i ask to Natalie: Why a key? so she recall me because this draw will start our exposition.

When we final the work we separate to each one a part of the exposition but in the next thay we had that share and learn from new.

For me this experience was easy because I have the custom to do that(the exposition in a few time).
