Use of:

SIMPLE PRESENT:

To express the idea that an action is repeated or usual. The action can be a habit, a hobby or something that often happens.
My sister always forgets her purse.
To talk about scheduled events in the near future. This is most commonly done when talking about public transportation, but it can be used with other scheduled events as well.
The party starts at 11 o'clock.
To express the idea that an action is happening or is not happening now. This can only be done with Non-Continuous Verbs and certain Mixed Verbs.

PRESENT CONTINUOUS:


To say that we are in the process of doing a longer action which is in progress; however, we might not be doing it at this exact second.
I am studying to become a doctor.
To indicate that something will or will not happen in the near future.
I am not going to the party tonight.
With words such as "always" or "constantly" expresses the idea that something irritating or shocking often happens. Put "always" or "constantly" between "be" and "verb+ing.“
She is constantly talking. I wish she would shut up.

Aguaviva/ Aiguaviva de Bergantes
Teruel. Aragón. España.


Location:

From the province of Teruel, located in the region of Aragon. It’s surrounded by a rugged landscape and that it’s the reason why is so difficult increase communications and an industrial development.

- Customs:
In Aguaviva, the agriculture is the base of the common living, they plant: Peach and olive trees (where they obtain olive oil).

- Demographics:

The precariousness of rural living standards compels the inhabitants of the region to migrate, throught the next most developed regions (Catalonia, Zaragoza, Valencia, Madrid).

- Economic:

The main economic activity in the town of Aguaviva is agriculture, most people works in agriculture, and they are owners of their land, so the unemployment rate is zero.

Another important activity it's construction. Most workers involved in building make it as independent and doing their work within the locality.

Because the predominant activity is agriculture and industry is virtually nonexistent, the unemployment rates in the population are low compared to other locations where there is or has been increased industrial activity.

- Monuments:

The most important religious building is the Church of St.Lorenzo (XVII century), that has a gothic and baroque architecture style.

- Festivals:

* The 3th weekend of January the San Antón (they have a traditional dinner, dancing around a large bonfire).
* The major festivals from day 14 to 18 of August, in honor of San Lorenzo.
* St. Augustine (on August 28) in honor of the Holy Mystery occurred
1475 (the Church of San Lorenzo was completely burned, and only the “Three Holy Forms” were saved, in which appeared with color blood).

- Tourism:

*Buildings for renaissance.
*Two chapels: of San Gregorio, and the chapel of Santa Barbara.
*Bergantes River, surrounded by a landscape "Gaudiano" (a spanish architect) forms made by the rocks (that acquired through the years it's the result of erosion by river).
